About the founder: Zayna

From a young age, I've been captivated by the creative arts, with interests spanning drawing, design, and baking. My pivot to a plant-based lifestyle in 2015 ignited a quest to “veganize” traditional recipes, a challenge that involved many trials and errors but ultimately led to mastering delicious, indistinguishable vegan pastries.

My professional background in marketing, art, and design was pivotal in bringing Flore to life—from branding and web design to recipe development, every aspect of Flore has been a labour of love. Recently, I have taken another exciting turn in my career by returning to school to study science, adding another layer of depth to my understanding of baking, which beautifully marries chemistry and art.
